Our strength can offer our clients continuity and stability in a financial services provider. Christopher J. Barber joined AXA Advisors, LLC on October 1, 1992 in the Syracuse, New York branch. He has focused his business on working with high- net-worth individuals and business owners to help them with their asset creation and preservation programs.
In recognition of his consistently outstanding personal performance and his skills at business building, Chris was quickly promoted to a District Manager in 1995. In just two short years, the Barber District finished in the Top Ten of all districts in the District Leadership Awards standings and reached the number 1 spot in 1998. Based on his strong leadership skills, Chris was promoted to Executive Vice President and tapped to help lead the New York City branch with partners Susan Cooper, ChFC, CLU, CFPâ and Dror Nir, JD. The New York Metro office, under that leadership team, boasted four President’s Trophy awards in recognition of outstanding management and sales leadership. Chris was also asked to serve as a member of the Old Guard Executive Committee, representing AXA Branch Managers across the country.
In 2005 Chris was chosen to lead the Long Island branch, one of the largest branch organizations of AXA Advisors in the United States. With his partners, EVP, Ferdinand Ruplin, ChFC, CLU, SVP and John Yacoubian, there’s no doubt that Chris will take the branch to the top of all branches in the AXA enterprise.
Chris currently resides in Melville, New York, with his wife Lisa and their four children.
